the term "Luddite" has, over the years, come to mean someone who's opposed to new technology just because. but that's not what they were actually about they were factory workers who wanted fair wages and steady jobs, and machines taking their jobs was one of their many problems. so as part of their tactics, they would destroy these machines. in response, factory owners resorted to shooting and killing luddites at these raids, and the government sent troops to suppress the luddites.

It’s good bc it makes ppl lazier. “I don’t know what to eat” AI: here’s some recipes I took from other thoughtful ppl from the internet! “Why didn’t I think of this thank you”. You could have, AI just did it for you. AI: I’ll make a playlist for you bc you clearly can’t do it yourself. I’ll budget for you bc you seem to not be able to.
