AAVE has roots from all over, including from england and the caribbean, so i would say you’re free to use whatever language/vernacular you want. i think what OP is saying is that you shouldn’t use AAVE, but then turn around and say it’s ghetto when black people do it. i believe OP is just pointing out some hypocrisy and racism.
it’s just a language, anyone can use it. it’s when they use it, then turn around and call black people ghetto when they use it. i’m not saying men don’t use it, which they def do, it’s just that you’ll see them calling black people ghetto for using it less often compared to women.
