Either Kent Nerburn in “Neither Wolf nor Dog”, Scott Momaday in “Native American Attitudes to the Environment”, or Bob Torres in “Making A Killing: The Political Economy of Animal Rights” I am not sure which one of these authors drew this conclusion specifically but all three readings refer to this idea and im 99% sure its in one of those readings
