Everything that’s happening is slowly but surely turning people towards socialism/democratic socialism so I’m here for it. Current Democrats in office are spineless cowards and we need a change. I had to explain this to a friend who had no idea why the shutdown even happened.

I am literally part of the marginalized communities you listed and I’m active in my community and consistently volunteering. That being said absolutely nothing has changed and sometimes a point HAS to be made at the expense of others. We don’t live in a perfect world unfortunately. People are waking up though ,is all I’m trying to say

This is a bad take tbh. People’s rights and lives are being affected now. So being in the place to sacrifice those people’s freedoms so that there’s a bigger reactionary swing left is so privileged. Fight for immigrants, fight for people of color, fight for lgbt rights, fight for women, fight for science, fight for freedom. Yall that sit back and let it happen are why concentration camps could be built and ignored.
