A girl in elementary school had one and brought it to class a few times a year. They’re pretty cool.

Okay I had one. Get a wheel (not a saucer) they poop while they run so warning about flinging poop at night. They climb very well if it’s a grate cage. They love cooked eggs, meal worms, just make sure to look up food. (Real food is the best) in winter if they get too cold they hibernate and die from starvation so have a little heating pad for small animals. Get a decent sized cage not a small one! please don’t do that they need space. Look for nail scratchers for the cage because their nails

I’m looking to adopt another one in my life again. They are great little babies and they will show their love to you when people come in that they don’t know roll in a ball and stay there until they smell you. They are awesome and I miss mine (coconut) everyday

Oh of course! I did research for hours and hours before I even started saving. I had gerbils before this, and it always pissed me off when people kept them in those itty bitty Kaytee cages. So I made sure to cover all my bases before officially deciding on a hedgehog. I take my pets very seriously.
