Ngl I do say I hate republicans sometimes. You might even catch me saying I hate dems as someone who wants more change than they're offering. But I do not hate individuals for their political beliefs. Even when it comes to people who have beliefs that I consider hateful and harmful, I see most of those people as more wrong than they are evil. I don't even think they deserve to suffer because of the policies they support. I hope the change I want will improve their lives too.

They’re both sucked into a system and are both on the right. But no, I absolutely can hate someone for being anti-abortion, anti-trans rights, and actively opposing what’s right for this country. (I hate dems a lot too, because the only thing worse than a competent enemy is an incompetent ally) not all opinions are valid and worthy of respect. When someone tells me they’re conservative, I immediately regard them as intellectually beneath me.
