It’ll take a while for your body to get used to it. It’s a huge struggle for the mind, so stay strong. Make sure you do more than cardio btw. Genuinely lifting will help you lose weight 100 fold

2,100 calories daily a good start? (Female, 257 pounds starting weight, 251 after 1 week, mostly water weight I’m assuming )

To start the habit. Up the amount of time spent working out gradually every month. You can get out of here with the negativity. Trying to start healthy habits in a healthy way only want actual advice not your judgement.

the calories seem good. if you do end up feeling hungry because you're eating less calories, i recommend upping protein. should keep you full for longer. workout benefits depends on what you do. i find lifting helps more BUT if you want to do cardio and find you have joint/ankle pain, stick to walking for a while. if you are comfortable running, do just a light jog that you can maintain the whole time. i've found, for me, that overall speed doesnt offer as much as maintained workouts/endurance.
