I think the main thing about all this anti-AI nonsense is that those of us who use it, usually use it because we’re in highly technical fields (medicine, finance, CS, etc etc), and it helps streamline our work. Whereas the avg person just uses it to think for them.

the main arguments against ai are not that people who use it are stupid; they’re that it consumes an irresponsible amount of resources to do a small task and that it creates feedback loops of incorrect or unreliable resources
