I over eat also I think something that helped me is meal prepping . And remembering you can always have more later.

Keep a stocked fruit basket on the table. Get hungry, peel an orange.

Also if you find you’re doing it more for the sensation , I recommend rice cakes ! They have some flavored, some plain. For me it helps deal with wanting to crunch on something. Also cold grapes / carrots ^^
