I know them well, I studied them under a trial attorney and former judge. You don’t get to ‘look for’ favorable jurors; you have to avoid that bc if you find one, the other side strikes them. You have to look for your unfavorables and hope the other side misses more. But anyway my point is, both sides had a lawyer and the prosecutor was doing the same thing. That’s why the jury comp doesn’t generally suggest unfairness; that’s what voir dire is for

That being said both sides have to agree on the jury picks. So the victim’s attorneys agreed that those who served on the jury were fit and impartial. They also have to come to a unanimous decision on EACH count. So rather than demonizing men maybe consider the fact that the women on the jury agreed with the verdict too. And if you’re unhappy with that verdict blame the attorneys and look forward to the stronger cases that are sure to follow.
