General on Yik Yak | I have a Latin last name that is common in the Hispanic world but I’m Portuguese, not Hispanic. Everytime I DoorDash I get a Hispanic person who immediately starts speaking Spanish to me. Does this happen to anyone else or am i being targeted?

Btw, the DoorDash driver always shames me for not knowing Spanish as if I forgot where I came from.

they're probably assuming you're Brazilian aka Latino but not Hispanic, and most Brazilians understand Spanish just fine
