It’s apparently bc in every bus accident, seatbelts would not have stopped the deaths of those who died nor the injuries sustained in the impact zone. Allegedly they’d only keep non impact zone people marginally safer, but my step daughter was just in a bus accident where a student flew out of the bus window and died. So. I don’t think that’s an accurate study the DOT and DOE is using to justify that
