I’ve been wondering about something and I’m sure there’s writing about it somewhere but what’s with privileged/non-marginalized groups pushing marginalized people out of common spaces then trying to invade spaces marginalized groups create for themselves?

Weirdass superiority complex + deep seated envy (kinda off topic but in the same vein) it’s like how dudes nowadays are fighting tooth and nail to bring back traditional white picket fence shit now bc they no longer have a leg up in the patriarchy, they don’t like how women are essentially equal with them if not overtly out performing them in most everything

That’s part of why it’s so annoying to me. A lot of the nerd stuff that I was mentioning was anime related too which just kinda makes it worse to say poc are invading
