i don’t think they are actively seeking real helpful advice. more just using it as an outlet and maybe spark conversation. but not really as a source of true advice or guidance

Exactly. And for me it’s just so I can get out the harsh mean words so I don’t say it to my partner, so I can go back later and communicate the issues like an adult with non accusatory language so we can actually solve the problem instead of yell at each other
