A lot of great diverse players that are being rumored come from the new era, but let’s not forget about icons Brenda Lowe and James Clement from pre S30

My guess is that since it will not be 39 days and still have the 26 day format maybe 2 (but most likely 4) of the leaked cast are alternates

The diversity mandate is something CBS got rid of a while ago. Jeff wanted to keep doing it, but 50 is a returnee season so it's going to lean white by virtue of old schoolers CBS wanted on Ozzy is also Hispanic I believe if you thought he was white

They got rid of it??? Tbh I disagree with that. I think more diverse casting was a step in the right direction, and the way to improve them was with even more diversity (just in different categories). I saw plenty of fancasts that followed the mandate without feeling forced or lacking in old schoolers and legends.

That makes sense. I just remembered there are likely still 3 starting tribes based on the colors we voted on. The closest number divisible by 3 is 21 which would lead to a gender imbalance, so the cast size is probably just 18

CBS got rid of it, but Jeff still uses it for the new seasons It's only very slightly off for season 50. It's not like season 50 has 2 black people and 14 white people like the early seasons. I'm sure we'll survive slightly more white people for one season lol
