Why do we almost never see players catch on to the fact that being the decoy vote is usually a bad sign for your position in your alliance?

I think Jason voted rizzo bc of the advantage? Idk could be wrong. But also sometimes the decoy vote is the person the one being voted out suggested voting for like Kim suggesting to get Jake out then she got voted out

Ok but often the person that you're the most comfortable talking about voting out to your actual target is also the person in your alliance that you'd be the most content with losing in the event that an advantage is played or the vote flips somehow
