Hunger games as a concept is older than survivor. The lottery by Shirley Jackson for example

Some other examples: - The phrase "I'm not here to make friends" was popularized by Kelly from Borneo - The word "alliance" is often used in real life and pop culture specifically in the way that it's used on Survivor - The idea of "reality stars" being public figures already existed but I'd argue that the first few seasons of Survivor really set the standard for it, so you could trace the success of the Kardashians and Trump back to Survivor

Yes there are multiple inspirations but a core aspect of the Hunger Games is directly taken from Survivor and the author has confirmed this

Also, the Hunger Games was created by Suzanne Collins in 2008. You can't just say one of the many things it borrows ideas from is the original Hunger Games. She has specifically said she got the idea when she was flipping through TV channels and saw Survivor and news about a war back to back.
