Ok, the amount of time Coach is spending on social media liking and commenting on anything Survivor related, and how much screen time he’s getting, is making me a little scared that he might actually win it all.

I assume because of the return to a live reunion, there will also be a live reading of the votes, so the winner doesn’t know they won yet. Personally, I have little faith Coach could win and I don’t think he’ll even make it to the end. But, even if he does, doesn’t it sound a lot more like Coach to think he crushed it only to be demolished by someone else?

Forgot about the live reunion, good point, but in all honesty, at this point in the game, Coach is playing well

He is, and going into the season I thought he had a genuine chance to win. But for him to do that, I thought he needed to do a Sarah Lacina 180 turn on his strategy and just say “forget honor, let’s just play hard” and he didn’t do that. From my perspective, if Coach is in the finals talking about honor, even if he plays great, he’ll get more eye rolls than genuine consideration.

As long as he’s trying to toe the line, he won’t get any respect from the principled players or the strategic players

Great points. Also depends who he sits next to. Next to Joe and Jonathan, nightmare final three, he could win that. He only lost to Sophie 6-3.
