Rupert has never really shown a strategical side. His social game is pretty good but he doesn’t really do much beyond that. Do I think the hate is a bit unwarranted? Yes. I would’ve loved to see Rupert on 50. BUT, with the exception of PI and kind of All-Stars (but frankly he didn’t do much despite being final 4), he feels very inconsequential to the season. Hes super likable, which is why he won Americas Tribal Council, but he has never really been an entertaining ‘player’

pearl islands rupert is the best rupert, but i agree the hates he gets on his later seasons is unwarranted

I like him in heroes vs villains as well besides him almost murdering Jerri in that one challenge. He was always calling out Russell on his bullshit and I think he actually did a pretty good job staying on the right side of the votes. Can’t say much about bvw

Oh absolutely, I prefer him just as a character more than a player. However, I do appreciate his fake idol trick to get out Candace in HvV, and I also think he wins that season if he actually got to the end with Russell and Colby
