you could make the case for ri being successful in blood vs water, but that was mostly because of the loved ones swap twist added to it. but overall neither were successful. i would make the case that EoE is worse because you are actually more likely to come back if you are voted out early, esp in WaW with fire tokens, whereas with RI if you were voted out early, you needed to win more challenges to get back in than someone who was voted out later
