This is just my personal opinion but I hate the new era. I miss the hard core survivor days. What happened to the lying, cheating, blindsides left & right ? All the seasons now are so predictable.

i do agree though that for the most part survivor has gotten softer. i miss when they’d bring batshit crazy contestants on the show like shane and make them wrestle in mud for challenges lmao

especially considering that secret advantages were actually *not* used this season for the sake of the larger alliance. in the “new era” that pretty much never happens- those advantages are seen as nothing but a way to score points with the jury
