i think ppl liked him in 48 cuz of his relationship with eva. i do agree that bis strategic edit is the same, and without eva there he is just a lot more unlikeable

People liked Joe in 48 because they liked Eva. Now that she’s gone Joe is just Joe without a partner to play with. No one likes a mob boss character without a proper second in command

I think ppl thought Joe played the way he did in 48 because of his relationship with Eva and wanting to make sure she was always okay. I think we were expecting him to play with a little more of a game mindset since she wouldn’t be there and he was now aware of what kyle and kamilla had done. I actually love joe outside of the game but he doesn’t understand the game, he’s here for his sister which is great, but didn’t belong on 50

I think his edits are completely different. In 48 he was painted to be a hero and he had tons of deeply emotional moments they showed. They barely showed anything bad about him the whole season because he was built up to be this amazing hero both in and out of the game. This season they’re dunking on him every chance they get and they pretty much ONLY show his bad moments. Now they only show him being pissed off all the time. I was never crazy about him but his edits are total opposites
