I love her, but u don't really like these songs, and that's okay, but they are clearly important to her and something she's proud of, so that's all that matters

I do remember crying thinking about how cruel reporters were to her that made her write Mean. But I didn’t see fans turning on her until RED, just the media. But definitely possible.
