I’ve only seen black creators say that this narrative is ridiculous. Like 6+ different creators with over 100k likes. And they’ve all pointed out that this narrative was started by a white person which is so weird.

the downvotes for such an important conversation is so disturbing. This community truly needs to do better.

well going around calling people racist without actually proving that people are racist is dangerous. you should have to prove that someone was a racist🤷‍♀️so far they’re grasping at straws. if you start calling everyone a racist without actually proving that they are then the word loses meaning and you can ruin an innocent persons life.

racism isn’t overt. it’s systemic and honestly taylor swift has massively benefited. the problem with your logic is that racism isn’t a one-time event you can point a finger at. it’s about staying quiet when POC are suffering, it’s about putting black artists down, it’s about using coded language to shit on POC women all of which she’s guilty of.

You said “let black swifties take this” and so that’s what I did in my comment. You’re ignoring what the overwhelming majority is saying which is strange.

i’m sorry but what poc are suffering bc of taylor? what black artists has she put down? and “coded language” or are you taking things out of context and purposely villainizing her? beyoncé & jay z, ice spice, kendrick lamar, B. o. B., T. Pain, 50 Cent, Zoe Kravitz, Flavor Flav, her back up singers and most of her background dancers, chiefs players and their wives, Hayley Williams who is very vocal about racism - the list goes ON…

don’t you think if she was a racist these people wouldn’t work with her or be friends with her or would complain about her? not one person who has ever met taylor has ever said she’s been racist. she’s been an artist for 20 YEARS now and has worked with and is friends with countless black artists & people, something would have come out by now.
