i’ve always liked taylor swifts music, but i wasn’t a “swiftie” until midnights came out. my sister and i had kind of a falling out in high school, but when midnights came out i told my sister i really liked it, so she showed me ALL of her music, and i fell in love with it. it’s silly but taylor swift kind of saved me and my sisters relationship, and ive been a swiftie ever since lol.

i feel like the divide is being a fan of all of the albums rather than just the genre subsets that you like otherwise. not that you need to like them all equally but to at least have listened to and appreciated it all yknow
