i genuinely believe that if tloas was called something else i would’ve had a better first impression with it. i think with the promo and the way they were portraying it, it gave off a different vibe than the actual album

Agreed. Also as she said it would be a look behind the curtain of the eras tour, I was expecting something about her training, being in so many cities, falling in love in front of the world, etc

I agree. I thought it was life of a SHOWGIRL not LIFE of a showgirl.

okay I feel (in my personal opinion) Taylor doesn’t really get concept albums. On my many listens of Midnights, I didn’t really get the whole “12 sleepless nights” thing she was going for. And THEN her concept art was all 70s so I thought we were getting some acoustic guitar vintage vibe…that obviously did not happen. So in short, Loasg did the SAME exact thing. Sets up a concept album: barley touches on concept. I thought the whole thing would be like ICDIWABH and very introspective.

How so? The way I portrayed it was that the life of a showgirl is performing (of course) with all the makeup, fancy outfits, dancers and stuff but it’s also about love and contemplating real life thoughts/events

kinda like 2, i thought it would be like relating to how the fame affects her life rather than her life. like emphasis on the showgirl part. i assumed it was going give i can do it with a broken heart, castles crumbling, i know places, the archer, the lucky one, eyes open, dear reader but in a bejeweled/ 1989/ theatrical way if that makes sense

Ohhh ok I see what you’re saying, there’s def more of an emphasis on the life part rather than the showgirl part, I understand now

Instead I got whiplashed by Travis’s dick. I also read somewhere that the track LOASG was the last one she wrote for the album. Which is insane if true. How can your concept album title track be the LAST TRACK WRITTEN??? Taylor hello?
