The fact is that everyone wants to have a pity party over someone who was terrible with "political" opinions that were just phobic, ist, and bigotry. He spouted hate and got exactly what he asked for. But we’re not about to keep dumbing down the shit HE, a terrible person, spread. It’s insensitive to tell the very people that go through what Kirk wished for, every single day. Get a fucking grip. Also when are we going to stop assuming that every person whom you disagree with must be underage?

I would also like to point out most people arguing in his defense are literally just saying “hey let’s not joke about it this is a sad thing that happened” not praising him or lifting him up (at least in this case) but just having basic empathy for a terrible thing that happened?? Just because it happened to the side we don’t like doesn’t mean it can’t happen to the one you support. If one activist isn’t safe NONE are. And you SHOULD have empathy for his family and the children who watched that.
