these are vinyl testers. she looked at these and chose what fit midnights the best. The album was not written yet. so my guess is that when she was picking the vinyls for showgirl, they sent her some new ones, and some ones she’s rejected in the past, she picked the ones that worked best for showgirl.

Someone posted about it further down and the green one is like a perfect match for the green onyx showgirl vinyl. The green one for midnights was a lot lighter and the purple was lavender so these defos look like they were always for showgirl

The dosent mean it had anything to do with showgirl. We had a 2 hour podcast of taylor talking, and it dosent seem like anyone listened. These vinyls were not always for showgirl. They were for midnights, but taylor picked other vinyls for midnights. The ones we see above were sent back, and repurposed for showgirl.

no clue, but if we look right on the paper of the vinyl, it’s says TEST. clearly stating these are test products.
