i constantly have to remind myself that just because she associates with them doesn’t mean she supports their politics. in the past she has done a lot of political activism. just because she’s dating a guy who gets her to hang with maga people doesn’t mean she’s changing.

My opinion (don’t come for me either) is that she’s actually more conservative than she lets on. Wealthy, white, Christian, rural Pennsylvania, conservative parents… I think she might have even identified as republican (albeit a moderate one) until 2018-2019

growing up in that environment is definitely a factor but she also grew up in the limelight and saw the difficulties and struggles in the US. i agree that’s she probably changed after the 2016 election but that election was a dramatic turn for the US imo. once she saw what was happening live and more emphasis for her i think, she knew she needed to speak up
