I know everyone says showgirl needs to marinate and needs multiple listens but unfortunately I think it’s souring with every listen for me 😭 I really wanted to like it but I just don’t think it’s for me

the songs that i’m iffy on are all good to me until something messes it up and it’s really unfortunate, like i love father figure but i don’t like the part in the bridge where she says “your thoughtless ambition sparked the ignition on foolish decisions which led to misguided visions” the rest of the song is perfect to me it’s just that part i don’t like

I liked father figure but the vocals sound pretty weak to me. I think it would’ve sounded so much better if it was fully sung in her lower register, instead of her trying to sing higher.

Eldest Daughter is the only one I can’t standdd. I hate all the Gen Z lingo she uses in it. The rest are fine to me, but nothing I love quite yet. I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt though because I hated You’re On Your Own, Kid when I first listened to it and now it’s in my top 5 haha
