I have been called a gaylor for viewing Taylor’s music through a queer lens when relating it to my own life. I have been told I deserve to have my head beat in with a brick. That I deserve to have travis rape me so I won’t view her music in that dirty way.

I was called slurs at the eras tour for saying I was happy a lesbian (girl in red an out lesbian) is opening for Taylor. I was told, “f@gs like you don’t belong here”. I have been shown so much hate for identifying as a lesbian Swiftie and this goes so much deeper than just gaylors

It’s okay. People treat lesbians differently than they treat other queer people, I have just been shown so much hate by swifties for being a lesbian. And that’s why I made this post, because it is so isolating. It is so discouraging to have another queer person to then try to make this post about gaylors. It just goes to show what an isolating experience this really is

Woah I had no idea those kind of people existed in the community, I’m so sorry you went through that 😞. Taylor’s said over and over again how much she hopes for everyone to find themself in her music, and she’s made it crystal clear she supports the queer community (You Need To Calm Down music video, for a really easy example)

They are very common in the community. I have had you need to calm down thrown in my face on multiple occasions. Like the girls who told me “f@gs don’t belong here” at the eras tour screamed the lyrics shade never made anybody less gay. I have noticed that most are more okay with gay male swifties but view lesbian swifties as predators
