I mean they have a point especially since it’s been confirmed by Taylor they’re all done and recorded plus like it or not she’s a billionaire everything she does is done strategically so of course when she saw the Taylor version project was successful she’d take advantage of it and monetize (hence the merch that just said Taylor’s version) You might now like it but everything she does has a purpose and she’s gonna do what’s best for her money wise

No I get it but it doesn’t take long to re-record music. And she doesn’t have to do a lot of promo for them if it was just about owning her own work- this part is all about sales and money. I don’t think she realized the Taylor’s version project would be this successful so she’s definitely trying to take advantage of it
