Guys is this a hot take?? Taylor has written songs about falling in and out of love with men. If other people who are LGBTQ+ Are able to relate it to their own personal lives, that’s okay? Ok now pls stop dming me saying I’m burning in hell 💕

THANK YOU! I am not lgbtq+ but i 100% agree with this. Honestly i think “gaylors” (not in a homophobic way cause i think you should do what makes you happy) have been the worst lately with how they talk about tay and trav and ive seen people say taylor “is actually gay and she is hiding it and getting in a lavender marriage” i personally think THOSE are the so called “fans” we should be ashamed of not the lgbtq fans! I think all Swifties lately have been terrible to eachother and to taylor.

The songs are about LOVE you don’t have to be in a straight relationship to be able to relate (you could relate because of friendships and stuff too…)

Also, these attacks are obviously not about defending Taylor; it's just that some people are looking for bad excuses and think everyone will believe it's for Taylor. They clearly didn't watch Miss Americana.

Hey as someone who has been around the block with this exact thing a few times: they aren’t going to stop dming you saying you are going to burn in hell. It is sadly part of being a lgbtq+ swiftie. LGBTQ+ swifties have not ever been treated as equals. The gay men are treated like pets and the gay women are treated as perverts

Literally, and all the people who speculate about her sexuality are just showing their weird forms of paradoxical relationships and how they either want her to fit a bill they have in their heads or be more like them. I don't get it at all, because even if it were true, it's not our business.

Yeah, I often wonder what it must be like to have everything picked apart like that, can't be easy

I have been called a gaylor for relating Taylor’s music to my own life and since I’m gay I have been told this makes me a gaylor. I feel like as a lesbian part of the problem is some straight swifties will label anything gay that they don’t like as being gaylor so that person will receive death threats. I don’t think saying Taylor is in a lavender marriage is okay, but I will still be treated the same as Swifties who do because of my sexuality

Like I have countless examples of me just existing as a lesbian and getting called a gaylor: saying I wanted to post a pic of my at the time gf to love story (was told dirty gaylor f@gs don’t deserve to listen to taylor), making an edit of two lesbian fictional characters to a taylor swift song (was told I am speculating on her sexuality and being a pervert), my shade never made anybody less gay friendship bracelet (tried to trade it and was called gaylor f@g)
