Okay my b I didn’t read my own post lmao. & yeah she is. IKIIKY was written while she was with Travis. She’s proven time and time and time again that she’s a powerhouse in writing and making music. Not every song on every album has to be Shakespeare quality. None of you guys are going after other artists like this. Taylor is the only one you hold to this standard

respectfully this is a taylor swift group, ofc we’re going to talk about her here 😭 also yeah she’s absolutely a great writer, which is why it’s even MORE jarring when songs like this come out. bc everyone knows it could be better. also what standard are you talking about?? the one where the music she puts out should be good? that should be a pretty low bar to clear for someone who’s been doing this for 20 years 😭😭

I’m saying that Kanye West & Chris Brown are praised and doted on despite being horrible but yet you guys save your outrage for an album that’s slightly below ur standards. Dua Lipa has released the same album like 3 times. Olivia Rodrigo, too. Everyone else’s best can’t even touch Taylor’s worst and where’s the anger at them for their writing being sub-par?

also why do you think these things are mutually exclusive? i can dislike some of her songs AND call out kanye and chris brown for the awful things they’ve done. do people have to start making disclaimers in their posts about those men before they bring up taylor swift?
