In “the lucky one” Taylor says “you chose The Rose Garden over Madison Square” does anyone know what rose garden in particular she’s referring to? It’s capitalized so it means she’s referring to a specific rose garden but which one? I looked on Reddit and
I always saw it as a metaphor for enjoying the simpler things and having a quiet life rather than the extravagant lifestyle that comes with being a person in the public eye.

That and how she uses it in “I hate it here” feels like it even more to me now. Like she’s finding solace through her own creative world since she didn’t like “mid-sized city hopes” or “small town fears”
