This is low key valid, the album will grow on people, I think some people are stuck in the ttpd sad music era and this is a complete whiplash (in a good way)

no one ever said these things about past albums?? everyone glazed the fuck out of each album (respectfully) and when we heard showgirl it just wasn’t up to her past standards. there’s a decrease in quality ever since midnights imo.

i remember everyone praising them. might have just been on different algorithms. frankly i wasn’t huge on TTPD and this album isn’t really giving for me even after listening to it multiple times. i just think her pop culture references are just gonna be dated in a few years and it will be tacky
