Everyone's mad, but this album is leaning towards a theatrical and philosophical direction. It's very dreamy. The lyricism may be different than her other albums, but it feels more like a Broadway comedy.

you’d think they would’ve expected that with the title literally being “the life of a showgirl”

Can you explain the philosophical direction bc I didn’t get that at all from the album

Literally. I was expecting something different, but I'm happy.

The album is full of what ifs and viewing her life and experiences to those of others. Ex. Ruin The Friendship, Elizabeth Taylor, The Fate Of Ophelia

And she’s writing her own experiences in imagined scenarios

That would make all music philosophical any artist any album

Yeah, that's kind of the point of philosophy. Everything is philosophical. But I mean, she's leaning more into it with this album. And I don't mean through metaphors; I mean that she is creating a story and connecting through her experiences.

I feel like you can say this same exact thing about any of her albums

I think that this one is focused on that. And when I say story, I genuinely mean story not just telling a real life experience.
