Also, I thought it was the life of a SHOWGIRL based on the visuals, not LIFE of a showgirl (which may be on me for assuming incorrectly) and she set very high standards for this album and I don’t think she met them

Problem is it doesn’t fit the brand she’s made for herself. If Sabrina sang those songs they’re still not good but would’ve been more on brand and less hated. Taylor just didn’t do a good job at sliding into that more sexual type of song writing 🤷‍♀️
