I think that the timing is bad but I think it’s also likely that these drops/announcements (Taylor’s merch, Sabrina’s album announcement, etc.) were planned at least weeks in advance. Idk all the legal stuff involved but especially with the merch they might have to go ahead and release it so that it’s not just taking up space in warehouses (assuming the majority of the stock is already produced)

I do feel like it would have been more tactful for Taylor Nation to wait a couple weeks to announce/drop the merch, but then the thousands of items that they have probably already produced would just be taking up space in a warehouse that could be storing other things

I do think that since they went ahead with a drop, they probably could have put out a statement maybe about it. And hey, throw some of the sales proceeds at a charity yk. From a PR standpoint
