I don’t like a lot of the Travis love songs strictly because I hate Travis because I was raised since birth to hate the chiefs and it is hard to seperate that. I still bop to the ones that aren’t super specific

You can dislike a team without disliking the players. They have personalities and lives outside of football. The team isn’t who they are. It’s the same as being friends with someone even though you don’t agree with their political views. You can like Travis and not like who he plays for.

Yeah but I also hate him as a player. You cannot deny that he has been extremely cocky in the past as a player and just straight up annoying. He also is a strictly chiefs player(unlike most who switch between teams)

This is mostly referring to the more specific songs she writes, I don’t like the alchemy and so high school because of the football references, I know she is thinking of the chiefs and I can’t support that. I love the Fate of Ophelia but I will be mute during the “your team” line

I think it’s a honorable trait that he didn’t feel the need to switch teams. He’s loyal. He’s not interested in something that might be better. He’s happy where he is at.

Not singing one line is doing the absolute most, but you do you. 😅

Sometimes I hate an entire team because of one player. I hate the dolphins because of Tyreek Hill. The hate culture in the NFL is very intense and has been ingrained in me since childhood
