the average american girl thing wasn’t working once she reached billionaire status so she had to try something else

Yea that’s another big reason I feel like she’s going to start falling off. Her whole brand was this awkward white girl and she still tries to keep that up despite being 35. Like 5-10 or even more years from now if she’s still acting like that it’s gonna b worrying

Plus if u look at other women who had similar scenarios as white women. (Miley Cyrus, Ariana grande, etc.) they were able to transition from the awkward white girl into something else while Taylor either hasn’t tried or just doesn’t want to make that change.

I do wish she started the whole sexy thing in red or 1989, around the age other female singers who were child stars were starting to break away from the Disney/Nick image. I do think some of her sexy songs would be better received if this was the case

Yea fr. She’s at the point now where lots of her fans r shocked that she like knows what sex is basically. The character she built up could only last for a set amount of time as everyone ages but I agree if she tried to transition her style earlier she’d b much better received.

She doesn’t even have to go as far as Miley or Sabrina. Even a song with a line or two about sex back in red or even 1989 would’ve helped her transition better.
