It also makes the person feel better than taking a screen shot of the dating app because it may make them uncomfortable using a picture they didn’t get permission to have

A new picture is more personal imo. Instead of a photo off a dating app. Plus last names since contacts are being made. Imagine being named Jenny but having a sister named Jenny and a cousin and a neighbor. Yk?
