Always pay for only your own part for a first date. Or split 50-50. It’s never a good idea to set up a precedent of financial dependence in a relationship.

I DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I will say it’s nice when the guy doesn’t allow it even after I push back. For me I do it because I don’t like giving up control + I find it uncomfortable being taken care of because of the control thing. So it takes a really strong man to make me feel safe enough to accept being treated like a woman 😭😭
