I’ve heard 6months-year but I don’t know personally

It’s a year; scar tissue is very sensitive. If you do go out in the sun this Summer, use monumental amounts of sunscreen and maybe consider a swim top

I waited ~9 months and did it in short bursts (15 minutes or so at a time before covering back up)

Agreed. I think I waited a year+ to go out in the summer sun… my short bursts mentioned above were a hot tub on a cloudy day lmao
