
i found it helpful with my ex to ask about terms he liked to use for his body/during sex (using a neutral word like "spot" or dick, for example), and being considerate of bathroom situations is appreciated too. other than that, there's not really much to think about. our family situations tend to be bad, though it's great if his isn't, so listen and take in what you hear before responding when they come up.
Just treat him like you would any other man!
