he specified that he passed as a man but he didn’t specify that he was closeted just to family. I guess you could also transition fully without coming out to anyone, I’ve just never heard of it

im not on hrt and i havent had surgery yet if thats the confusing part. im a trans guy that looks male, but still closeted. like my mom uses she/her and my deadbame bc i havent told her

passing doesnt have to do with being closeted tho? like you can be closeted yet passing or uncloseted and passing. passing is just about how you look

yeah but if you suddenly start passing as the opposite gender, people you interact with daily are gonna ask abt it. you’re not closeted to your friends, right? that’s where the confusion came from

when i was little i was dubbed a tomboy despite being in dresses ig it was in my personality. when i cut my hair in middle school i was out to some friends, but lost contact in high school. from there i just never came out to anyone lol. ig it wasnt like one day girl next day boy, its really just been a haircut
