I’ve been standing at the crossroad of me being trans masc or trans man for years now and I’ve made no progress in figuring anything out 😭

same but honestly i just stopped caring and call myself both. trans man if a man were nonbinary and also a man. trans masc if a nonbinary person were a man and also nonbinary. whatever. gender is a shimmery scratch and sniff sticker that i stick on my face to make me happy.

i mean this respectfully, but does it matter? does it change how you want people to interact with you/refer to you/etc? if it does, you should probably explore what feels most affirming to you, but if it doesn’t, maybe the label isn’t that important.

gender is fluid on a spectrum too, maybe your fluidity just encompasses masculine identities

It doesn’t affect how I want people to interact with me it affects myself personally for a few different reasons.
