Can’t say anything from sleep other than medicine (clonidine is my bestie), but… do not stretch or try to life your arms very high at all, even after your drains are out and your skin closes. That’s gonna be one of the last things you want to do. 🫠

Don't push yourself, especially if you have a high pain tolerance. I decided I was okay to eat out with my family (I didn’t drive, literally just walked into the car and ate and walked back into the house from the car) and it completely wiped me out for several days. For me, it was rly hard to only be able to do low-energy activities (I could not watch tv w/out losing focus), so make sure you're spicing it up early on so you don't go stir crazy. Also long charging cable

I was taking benadryl to offset the itchiness that the perc causes. had the bonus effect of making me sleep a lot. also used lots of pillows to make a nest, cuz you have to sleep a little upright.

A mastectomy pillow (or something like it) can help keep you comfortable, especially on car rides to and from follow ups. Also try muscle relaxers before the painkillers for any discomfort, that would’ve saved me big time the first week if I knew to do it
