yup, been there. the good news is, it seems like those of us who wanna lean into that “male effeminacy” vibe do tend to reach a certain point in our transitions where that becomes a viable option without preventing us from passing (source: am a fairly androgynous mallgoth-y trans guy with long hair, and strangers gender me correctly wayyyy more often than what I’d expect)
