I can’t stand when ppl compare “transracial” to transgender. They’re not the same at all. You don’t wake up and feel dysphoria because of your skin tone or race you still get up and do what u like despite your skin color or race. With gender dysphoria you

And what really pisses me off is that “transracial” IS ACTUALLY A REAL TERM THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT!! It’s a term for adopted children who are adopted into families of a different race than their own!!

can actually be so dysphoric that you wouldn’t want to do certain things because it triggers your gender dysphoria. Swimming without a shirt on triggers my gender dysphoria for example.

you’re so right and the only reason people feel insecure about their skin is cause society set up a system telling them they’re inferior for their looks. transracial people think its okay to just cosplay a skin tone when 99% of the time it was their people who’ve caused others so much distress about their race.

Right! It’s going viral again after a woman made a troll commentary like video claiming she is transracial, just to throw shade on the transgender community and ppl are actually comparing the two. It’s ridiculous.

Right! The real definition of transracial is being adopted by people whom are a different race from you, so naturally you take on their culture. It’s not what Rachel Dolezal is. The “transracial” ppl use nowadays is simply just cultural appropriation and jealousy.

Exactly! So glad you’re picking up what I’m putting down because this is exactly what I was thinking. No one from a young age feels like something about their skin tone or race feels off, society causes those problems. But ppl from a young age do feel gender dysphoria even without having the words to put it together. I was always feminine since childhood, but I wasn’t insecure about having brown skin.
